Surgery

Last week Ty had surgery on his cocos (that's what we call it) or, to most people, his penis. He had what is called hidden penis, so they could not circumcise him when he was a newborn. What happens when you have huge babies like I do, is that their fat pocket is so big the penis doesn't get to pushed all the way out, so they have to surgically do it. After they did this they circumcised him. All of our boys have had surgery on their cocos, so this was standard procedure for us. Even so, it's still hard to watch your baby be taken away from you and to next see him all drugged up. Ty was a champ, though. He was probably the best out of the three when it came to waking him up and taking care of him that day. Everything is fine now, and we're treating him very gingerly down there :)

He was very upset because he hadn't eaten is so long. He did great, though. There's plenty of storage in this little guy!
Isn't he the cutest thing?
Ty is definitely our little snuggle bug.

This is right after he woke up from surgery. He was up for a few minutes, then fell back asleep.
This is when we were packing him in the car seat to come home.

4th of July

We had a nice, relaxed, 4th of July this year. We were able to go play in the water during the day, and have a BBQ with our family at night before we watched the fireworks.
Fun in the sun! This is the horrible dessert I made.

Cole had a little too much fun with the sparklers. That kid has NO fear!!The kungfu wanna-bes, ie: DORKS!!

Logan looked like this the whole time. Strange for a kid who is so loud himself!
Us in our traditional "take our own picture" pose.

Nellis AFB

Alain, the genious that he is, had the grand idea of taking the Cub Scouts to the Nellis Air Force Base here in Las Vegas. The kids absolutely loved it, and had a great time. They got to go in a bus down airfield where the planes take off, which they were told no one has been able to do before. It was pretty darn cool!
Inside a really big helicopter. Cole had a hay-day as an honorary Cub Scout for the day.

First Baby Food Experience

Ty had rice cereal for the first time last week, and this is what happened.

He was just fine, then...
not so much anymore!

4 Months!

Ty's now 4 months, and it seems as though my baby is no longer a baby!! They grow so fast :( I always want them to stop crying all the time, to play with toys, and to do all the things a newborn does not do. However, I always seem to forget that by wishing these things would happen, I'm wishing away the number of days I have left with my last baby.

Ty is a cutie pie, and we love having him. He's gotten a little bit easier to take care of, so that's been nice. As you can probably tell, he's well off the charts for weight (19.3 lbs to be exact), but we love him that way. Ty loves to laugh and play, but when he's hungry, boy is he hungry!!

We love having our chunky monkey and cannot wait to see what else is in store for us.

He's much bigger in this bath picture than the last one!!Our smiley baby!

Fun with Liz

When I went home for my parent's anniversary I was lucky enough to be able to spend a little bit of time with one of my best friends from high school. Even though we don't get to see each other that often, it always seems as though we haven't been apart at all. We always have such a blast together. She was one of my partners in crime! I love you Liz, and I miss you already!

Alice in Wonderland

Logan was in his first play this year. The entire 3rd grade did Alice in Wonderland. Logan played one of the cards. He did a great job and had a ton of fun practicing all of the songs with the hand motions, even if I didn't have so much fun with all the practicing!! Good job, Logan, we're super proud of you!

Parent's 50th Anniversary

For my parent's 50th wedding anniversary they decided to have a family reunion of sorts. It was quite nice since we all are rarely together.Eeveryone was able to be there except my niece who's on a mission. It was great to get to spend some time in my home town and celebrate with everyone. We had a lot of fun at all of the festivities, and I'd like to thank my parents for such a good time.

This was the best of the bunch.
My brothers: Doug, Dennis and Derek.
Me and my sister, Deanne.
All of the siblings.
The entire Howell family.
My parents.
