Ty's 1st Birthday!

Ty turned 1 on Feb. 26th. I'm a horrible mother because he's over 13 months and I'm just now blogging about it! Oh well, what can you do?

He had a great day, as we all do when we turn 1. It was filled with tantrums, crying, and whining, which brought on hugs, loves, and kisses. So, overall, it was good :)
We gave him his first cupcake, which he devoured (what else coming from him, right?). It got to the point where he had eaten the entire thing, and he was taking his finger and scraping off the frosting from his hands to get more sugary goodness in his mouth. We were all laughing hysterically.

One thing we love about Ty:

• He thinks he is older than his 1 year, and wants to be just like his brothers. If he is left our of preschool in any fashion he throws the biggest fits until we let him be in the room. It's quite amazing that he knows what he wants at this age. I can't wait for him to be able to talk to TELL us what he wants instead of screaming or shrieking his demands.

I can't just list one thing, so here are some more:

• We also love him because he keeps us on our toes. He has been the only baby to get in EVERY single one of our drawers, closets, and cabinets and take everything out of them.

• He makes the silliest faces, which we love and nickname, ie: cheese face (see previous post).

• He learned to walk on his birthday, and we are proud to announce that he no longer is doing the Lemer walk (hands in the air to balance), so he is now doing the bulldog walk (legs spread wide so as not to rub the thigh pudge).

We love our little guy and are so glad that he came here to us. He sure is a blessing.
